ACLD (Adults and Children with Learning and Developmental Disabilities, Inc.) is looking for a seasoned, dynamic Residential Manager to direct the day-to-day operations of an adult residential group home.

The ideal candidate can manage diverse duties and multiple priorities; and is able to maintain effective relationships with people supported, families, staff, and other internal/external departments. Candidate should have strong initiative, excellent problem solving skills and the ability to be creative, while managing multiple priorities in a busy residence.

This is a full-time position and requires flexibility in work schedule including at least one evening and one early morning shift per week and weekend hours. Position is also required to be on-call.

Responsibilities:

Promote a positive and productive work environment

Hire, train and coach all direct care employees including Assistant Manager

Promote ACLD's values and strategic vision

Develop and manage Individual Service Plans and Plans of Protection/Behavior Support Plans

Ensure oversight of Health & Fire Safety

Manage crisis situations and behavioral issues as the needs arise

Manage budgets and ensure sound fiscal management procedures are being followed

Ensure accurate documentation and service billing is complete and submitted in a timely fashion

Diligent in complying with OPWDD and ACLD policies, rules and regulations

We require:

High School Diploma; Bachelor's Degree preferred

Two years experience working in I/DD field

One year supervisory experience

Strong managerial skills and written and verbal communication skills

Clean and valid New York driver's license

Strong Microsoft Office computer skills
