What You'll Do:

As the Residential Development Coordinator, you'll lead the administration of the city's housing rehabilitation programs, manage emergency repairs, first-time homebuyer initiatives, and ensure compliance with HUD regulations. You'll be at the forefront of transformative projects, building strong relationships with homeowners, contractors, and the community, ensuring that every project is aligned with the city's climate, equity, and sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee the city's housing programs, including emergency repairs and first-time homebuyer support.

Ensure all projects comply with HUD guidelines.

Support financial arrangements, qualify applicants, and coordinate loans.

Lead the State Lead-Based Paint Program and oversee compliance.

Manage relationships with homeowners and contractors, ensuring smooth project execution.

Provide essential data for city, county, and federal reports.

What You Bring:

A strong understanding or keen learning sense of State Lead-Based Paint Programs, Environmental reviews, Radon inspections (new) and HUD policies and guidelines.

1+ years of experience in community development, municipal planning, or residential development.

Bachelor's degree or associate's degree in public administration/policy, urban planning, community development engagement, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Excellent communication and project management skills.

A deep commitment to social justice and sustainability.
