TriSource is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Program Manager to lead and oversee a program supervisor, residential specialist and other staff members in a children's shelter setting. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in program management social work, as well as grants and funding requirements.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Manages all aspects of shelter in accordance with licensing standards and Department of Health and Human Services requirements.
- Directly supervises and evaluates capabilities of staff to achieve program goals.
- Conducts staff meetings and individual supervision on a regular basis.
- Prepares budgets and monitors program expenses.
- Interprets agency policy and explains program standards and goals as needed to staff, government officials and general public.
- Ensures daily activities for children and staff scheduling is maintained appropriately
- Provides on-call coverage as assigned
- Provides all reports as requested/required by DHHS
- Investigates and follows up on all CPS complaints as required.
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal, decision-making, problem-solving, oral, and written skills.
Education and Experience Required
- A master's degree in social work, psychology or counseling and a combination of two years professional experience with children, in a children's residential facility and in administration or supervision;
- or a baccalaureate degree in social work, psychology or counseling and a combination of three years professional experience with children, in a children's residential facility and in administration or supervision;
- or a baccalaureate degree and a combination of four years of professional experience with children, in a children's residential facility and in administration or supervision.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
