WHAT IS THIS POSITION RESPONSIBLE FOR?
- Recovery Assistants work in a residential setting with individuals who have severe and persistent mental illness and/or substance use disorder to assist in developing recovery and independent living skills.
- We utilize a person-centered approach to help residents reach their recovery goals.
- Recovery Assistants are not responsible for hands-on care.
- We offer an individualized orientation program to help you learn how to effectively work with our residents.
WHAT'S REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION?
- Associate's degree or equivalent of 60 post-secondary education credit hours preferred. One year of post-secondary education or one year related experience in lieu of education is required.
- Work schedule: Full-time position 40 hours per week
- Demonstrated proficiency with interpersonal and writing skills.
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
- Must have valid driver's license and qualify for Company's vehicle liability insurance.
- Candidates must pass required background checks including county/state checks, sex offender registry check, and drug screen.
