As a veteran-owned, whole-home remodeling company with over 18 years of experience, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality, efficient, and affordable remodeling services. The Residential Remodeling Lead Carpenter will manage day-to-day operations on job sites, ensuring all work is completed on time, within budget, and to our high standards. This role requires exceptional carpentry skills, leadership abilities, and a passion for customer satisfaction.Who we are: Mended Rose Construction is a local, veteran-owned whole-home remodeling company with over 18 years of experience in providing exceptional remodeling services. From bathroom renovations to roof repairs, we approach each project with a dedication to high-quality craftsmanship, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. We treat every property with the same care and respect as if it were our own, ensuring that our clients receive the best possible service at an affordable price.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Lead and supervise on-site activities for residential remodeling projects, ensuring work is completed efficiently and adheres to project schedules.
  • Manage a team of carpenters and subcontractors, providing guidance and direction to ensure high-quality workmanship in all phases of remodeling, from framing and drywall to finishing and cabinetry installation.
  • Review and interpret project plans, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate execution.
  • Maintain clear and regular communication with clients, addressing their questions, concerns, and keeping them informed about project progress.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and building codes, maintaining a clean, safe, and organized job site at all times.
  • Monitor and manage materials, tools, and equipment to ensure their proper use and availability.
  • Conduct quality control inspections to verify that all carpentry work meets company standards before final project completion.
  • Collaborate with project managers and team members to resolve any issues that may arise and ensure smooth project delivery.
The ideal candidate should possess:
  • 3+ years of carpentry experience, with a focus on residential remodeling projects.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and carpentry best practices, particularly in remodeling.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and construction documents.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients, team members, and subcontractors.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
