At Shine of Tysons, we're on a mission to provide exceptional window cleaning, pressure washing, gutter cleaning, and seasonal services like holiday lighting to homeowners who want their properties to look their best. As a Residential Sales Representative, you'll be the face of Shine to our customers, building connections, offering tailored solutions, and closing deals that help us grow while delivering an unparalleled customer experience. What You'll Do As a Residential Sales Representative, your role is all about delivering results and building relationships. You will:
  • Work Schedule: Work Tuesday to Saturday to align with homeowner availability, maximizing opportunities to connect and close deals.
  • Canvass Your Territory: Walk and knock on doors in every street of your assigned territory at least four times per year to ensure every home knows about Shine and its offerings.
  • Generate Leads & Build Pipeline: Identify potential residential customers, proactively connect with homeowners, and establish Shine as a trusted brand in the community.
  • Deliver Estimates: Visit homes, assess service needs, and create tailored quotes for Shine's offerings, clearly communicating the value to homeowners.
  • Close Deals: Use your persuasive and engaging personality to turn prospects into satisfied customers, securing new business and maximizing revenue potential.
  • Meet & Exceed Quotas: Achieve monthly sales goals, securing service agreements with a focus on high-value neighborhoods.
  • Build Long-Term Relationships: Foster trust and rapport with customers to drive repeat business and referrals, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Drive Market Visibility: Represent Shine in neighborhoods and at local community events, building brand recognition and credibility.
  • Stay Sharp: Continuously learn about Shine's services, customer needs, and sales techniques to stay ahead of the competition.
What Success Looks Like In your first year, you'll be expected to:
  • Canvass every street in your territory at least four times per year, ensuring Shine is visible to every homeowner once per quarter.
  • Meet or exceed monthly quotas for new residential service agreements, focusing on high-value neighborhoods within Northern Virginia.
  • Drive consistent revenue growth by achieving and surpassing aggressive sales goals.
  • Build Shine's reputation as the top choice for home services, driving referrals and word-of-mouth recognition throughout the community.

  • Natural Closer: Proven ability to confidently ask for the sale and overcome objections, with at least 2+ years of sales experience (home services a plus).

  • Quick Learner: Fast on your feet and able to pick up new information, adjust strategies, and deliver results.
  • Persuasive & Persistent: Resilient and adaptable with a tenacious attitude toward achieving goals.
  • Organized & Detail-Oriented: Capable of managing multiple leads, following up, and ensuring every customer interaction is seamless.

Additional requirements:
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record (no violations within the last year).
  • Ability to travel up to 100% of the time within your assigned territory (Alexandria, Arlington or Great Falls area). Sales vehicle provided.
  • Must pass a pre-employment background screening
