Job Description
General Functions
Responsible for the supervision of all direct care staff, to include clerical staff. Coordinates program activities in the absence of the Program Manager.
Work is performed under the supervision of the Program Manager and is reviewed on a regular basis through observations, conferences, and results achieved.
Representative Duties/Assignments
* Hires, supervises and evaluates assigned staff ensuring that program operations, policies and procedures are effectively carried out.
* Plans, organizes, and delegates residential activities and operations as assigned by the Program Manager or Senior Program Manager.
* Ensures the safety and maintenance of facilities and equipment and that documentation or required records and reports are accurate and thorough.
* Coordinates services with staff of other programs in the Division, County or with external agencies.
* Ensures assigned staff completes required training.
* Develops and implements program schedules, projects and assignments.
* Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in social work or in a related area of study and at least two (2) years of experience working with children; or Associates degree from an accredited institution and three (3) years of experience working with children.
Possess and maintain a valid State of Florida Driver's License and may be required to provide own vehicle for job related duties.
Preferences
Experience in a residential setting.
Supervisory experience, preferably in a residential setting
Ability to utilize Microsoft Word and Outlook.
Salary Information
Pay Grade: 015 - From $24.27 to $27.91
FLSA Status: Exempt
