Residential Training Content Specialist - Customer Care

Position Overview

The Residential Training Content Specialist will produce high-quality content that aligns with our Residential Customer Care objectives and the enterprise. This includes creating engaging text, image, and video content for all email and digital platforms to be distributed to Residential Customer Care associates. The Residential Training Content Specialist will play a vital role in driving success for Customer Care to support Residential's $4B+ business by collaborating closely with leadership in an assigned geography and/or business partners on developing customized content and identify new approaches to reach associates.

Responsibilities

Content Development

* Develop training content that aligns with Residential's goals and objectives by collaborating with leadership and/or business partners.

* Identify new content approaches and opportunities to achieve outcomes.

* Create engaging and interactive training materials using Adobe Creative Cloud or similar platforms to design e-Learning, modules, videos, simulations, and graphics to meet the needs of Residential Frontline and Support roles where associates gain comprehensive understanding of the subject matter.

* Implement soft skills training into content with a focus on the art of listening, communicating, finding solutions, personality flexing, and navigating ambiguity.

* Implement technical skills training into content with a focus on product, systems, software, and technologies.

Project Management

* Participate in all phases of a project's life cycle with initial planning through closure.

* Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time and within scope of expectations.

* Provide regular updates on project status, progress, and any issues that arise.

* Maintain and update training materials within a digital library.

Product Knowledge

* Learn and understand Residential flooring brands to develop content that is captivating and effective for ongoing product awareness.

* Strategic approach to training materials to address specific product knowledge gaps with a goal of enhancing learning.

Measurement and Evaluation

* Assess the effectiveness of training programs and track the progress and impact of training initiatives over time to continuously help develop skills and overcome challenges.

* Regularly gather feedback from associates, managers, and other stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions to enhance the quality and relevance of training materials.

Other Duties

* Occasional travel to attend training conferences and/or make customer visits and apply learnings to continuously provide superior training content.

* Work independently and collaboratively with team members and other departments.

Requirements

* Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Instructional Design, Graphic Design, or equivalent experience.

* 3+ years' experience in content creation with design software tools, such as Adobe Creative Cloud, including the ability to edit and enhance images and video content.

* Expertise in using presentation tools, such as Microsoft PowerPoint to create compelling slideshows with a passion for storytelling.

* Must be able to learn different learning management systems (LMS).

* Must be able to simplify complex concepts and write in a user-friendly manner.

* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

* Strong project management to manage multiple projects simultaneously while prioritizing to meet deadlines.

* Must be detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality.

Work Shift

8 Hr non-rotating shift, Hrs fall to in punch day, Observed Calendar, shift starts AM
