Job purpose* A Materials Handler is responsible for supplying raw material to the press and daily changeovers.Duties and responsibilities* Safely perform assigned tasks completely and efficiently. Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.* Responsible for material change overs at the molding machine* Responsible for maintaining and cleaning dryers, grinders and raw material area* Maintain and correctly label the raw materials* Assist production team on housekeeping of plant floor* Operates forklift, pallet truck and other associated material handling equipment.Qualifications* High School Diploma or equivalent* Ability to work in team environment and maintain positive attitude* Ability to work in a safe manner and follow safety policies and procedures* Good attention to detail* Must be a self-starter and highly motivated* Ability to plan and organize their scheduleWorking conditions* Manufacturing environment where Personal Protective Equipment is required.* Eight hours shifts, mandatory overtime when requiredPhysical requirements* Standing for long periods of time* Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and occasionally maneuver up to 1500 pounds with an assist.* Must be able to frequently reach, bend, kneel, squat and climb.
