WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: We are seeking a highly personable, detail-oriented leader to assist the housekeeping department by overseeing and aiding the Resort Appearance Attendants in meeting all cleanliness and guest service requirements. Requirements:
- Ability to work independently with little supervision while also able to work as part of a team
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and organizational skills (ability to speak English fluently)
- Timely and reliable attendance is essential even in inclement weather
- Must be available to work a flexible workweek including holidays and weekends
- Previous housekeeping and supervisory experience is a plus
- Must be at least 18 years of age
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:
- Consistently offer professional, friendly, and engaging service and information to the guests
- Assist the attendants in cleaning assigned public areas throughout resort including food and beverage guest locations
- Assist in emptying trash in all public areas and clean public area restrooms
- Assist in vacuuming carpets where needed
- Follow departmental policies, procedures, and service standards
- Report necessary maintenance items
- Maintains accurate inventory of equipment and supplies as directed
- Practices safe working techniques and is knowledgeable of all safety and emergency procedures
