The St. Louis Jewish Federation has an excellent opportunity in their development department for a Resource Assistant! This is a key support position for Jewish Federation of St. Louis. This position will serve as a part of the Development department, while working closely with senior managers to support donors, events, and the development process as a whole. A day in the life of the for our Resource Assistants includes:
- Providing administrative support to professional staff, including, but not limited to:
- Database management and data entry including accuracy and confidentiality when entering donor information
- Providing support for various events, programs, and meetings including meeting coordinating and preparation including sending reminders, scheduling in person and virtual meetings (via Zoom and Teams,) ordering food, setting reservations and other meeting support such as taking meeting minutes as required
- Developing and documenting work processes, including timelines and schedules
- Working in partnership with staff to identify opportunities for process improvement
- Designing, maintaining, and generating reports
- Maintaining calendars of events, dates, and marketing deadlines
- Coordinating mailings including creating mail mergers and sending out information to multiple recipients; ensuring accuracy and attention to detail in all donor correspondence
- Other duties as assigned
Our ideal Resource Assistant candidate meets the following criteria:
- Possesses a high school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred
- A minimum of two (2) years experience in a support role
- A minimum of two (2) years' experience in data management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience working with databases and/or CRMs
- Demonstrated organizational skills and an ability to support strategic plans
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends on occasion and with advance notice

This position will work in a hybrid work environment, including 2-3 days per week at the Millstone Campus in Creve Coeur and may require occasional evening and weekend commitments with advance notice but is otherwise a Monday through Friday schedule from 8am - 5pm with some flexibility.
