U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command Resource Management Director in Fort Eustis , Virginia Summary About the Position: Works under broad administrative direction of the Commanding General (CG), and/or Chief of Staff (CoS), United States Army Center for Initial Military Training (USACIMT). Responsibilities As a Resource Management Director, you will perform the following duties which is not an all-inclusive list: Serve as the Director of the USACIMT, Directorate of Resource Management, G8, providing stewardship and direction of an integrated resource management program. Analyze financial data providing expert technical advice and guidance on the economics of plans, programs and utilization of financial, personnel and material resources. Exercise responsibility for the continued development, coordination, and evaluation of an effective integrated resource management program. Exercise technical and managerial control, through subordinate supervisors. Serve as executive manager responsible for advising, briefing, justifying, and defending the Commands resource strategy and status to the Commanding General and other senior leadership regularly. Serve as the financial management technical authority/resource manager and makes commitments and decisions that impact on budget revisions program adjustments, and economic trends affective the organization. Specialized Experience Statement: o qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as: Work which includes providing managerial oversight, advice and guidance to planning, programming, budgeting, management and manpower and financial force management functions and processes. Applying a wide range of qualitative and/or quantitative methods for the assessment and improvement of program effectiveness or the improvement of complex management processes and systems and establishing resources policies. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Customer Service Financial Management Financial Management Systems Managing Human Resources Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-14). Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. Additional Information Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration. You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship. One year trial/probationary period may be required. Direct deposit of pay is required. Selection is subject to restrictions resulting from Department of Defense referral system for displaced employees.
