Work where you matter.You Belong at Avera: Competitive pay, front-loaded PTO and options for free health insurance, various shifts to fit your lifestyle and opportunities for career growth.Avera is looking for a Respiratory Therapist to join our Team!Position Highlights:Paid Time Off (PTO) available on Day 1!Options for Free Health Insurance!Career Growth opportunities!Be a part of a rewarding team while providing outstanding care to a variety of patients.Gain hands-on experience in healthcare working alongside other healthcare professionals who are passionate about creating a positive impact.Job SummaryThe Respiratory Therapist is responsible for the assessment, treatment, and management, diagnostic and therapeutic interventions affecting the cardiopulmonary system for neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, and adults.The individual must demonstrate proficiency in all modalities of respiratory care, which may include, but not limited to oxygen therapy, breathing treatments, airway clearance, blood gases, airway management, non-invasive and invasive ventilator setup and monitoring.Education and/or ExperienceRequiredAssociates DegreeWith a certificate in Respiratory Care.Preferred EducationBachelors DegreeWith a certificate in Respiratory Care.Licensure/Certification/RegistrationRequiredCertified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) with the National Board of Respiratory Care.Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of Nebraska.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire.Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 6 months of hire.Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within 6 months of hire.Preferred License/CertificationRegistered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with the National Board of Respiratory Care.Work Schedule~ Varied Shifts; 72 hours every 2 weeks~3 rd to 4 th weekend rotation~1 to 3 holidays per year rotation~ General hours 6:00am-6:30pm~ On call 1-2 nights a week rotationPayThe hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.~$26.25 - $39.50 per hour
