Overview
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Rochester General Hospital. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing personalized care to respiratory patients while ensuring their well-being and comfort.
Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate patient history and current respiratory care orders
- Develop and update respiratory care plans for each patient
- Provide patient education for therapeutic procedures
- Communicate patient's clinical status to the healthcare team
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Respiratory Care or equivalent certificate
- New York State Respiratory Therapist (RT) license with current registration, or New York State Respiratory Therapy Technician (RTT) license AND National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) active credentials as a Certified Respiratory Therapist
- Effective communication skills and clinical excellence
