Idaho Falls Community Hospital is looking for a Respiratory Therapist to join our team!
JOB SUMMARY: Registered Respiratory Therapists (RRT) are responsible for providing basic and advanced respiratory services for patients in all stages of life. The RRT can perform routine respiratory care in the clinical area including and not limited to initiating and monitoring oxygen therapy, medication administration, arterial puncture and breathing exercises and retraining. RRT is also able to perform critical care duties which include endotracheal intubation, initiation, management and discontinuation of mechanical ventilation. RRT may perform routine emergency care for patients ranging from infant, child, adolescent, adult and geriatric populations. RRT are expected to maintain all department and hospital records and provide accurate information into the hospital records as therapy is given.

Qualifications
Education/Certification: Has current state Respiratory Therapy license. Graduate of an AMA approved School of Respiratory Therapy. Successful completion certifications of BLS, PALS ACLS and Neonatal Resuscitation.
Experience: Three or more years of previous experience in all aspects of cardiopulmonary services is preferred.
Equipment/Technology: Basic computer knowledge. Ability to use Standard Respiratory devices, such as but not limited to: ABG Machine, Ventilators, HFNC, EKG, IS (incentive spirometer) CPAP/BIPAP devices. Ability to perform chest PT.
