The Role:
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our Cashier team. As a key part of our guest service team, the Cashier will ensure that every guest has a seamless and enjoyable dining experience from start to finish. This role involves not only handling transactions but also enhancing the guest experience by providing knowledgeable assistance with menu items and maintaining the flow of service.
Your responsibilities will include:
Greeting guests with a warm, friendly demeanor.
Accurately processing guest orders and payments using our point-of-sale system.
Guiding and recommending options for guests based on their preferences.
Providing detailed information about menu items, ingredients, and potential allergens.
Assisting guests with questions or special requests, ensuring all dietary needs and preferences are met.
Maintaining a clean and organized cashier counter and surrounding area.
Collaborating with the kitchen and service teams to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
Addressing and resolving guest concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
Balancing the cash register at the end of each shift and ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.
Upholding all food safety and hygiene standards.
Who We're Looking For:
The ideal candidate for this role will possess:
Exceptional customer service skills with a genuine passion for hospitality.
Strong knowledge of food and beverage service, including familiarity with menu items and ingredients.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
A positive attitude and willingness to go above and beyond to enhance the guest experience.
Previous experience in a cashier role within a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
Basic math skills and the ability to operate a point-of-sale system.
Requirements:
Must meet state minimum age for serving alcoholic beverages.
Participate in NC ABC training.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Interested in a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
Confident with technology and point of sales systems.
Willing to learn and grow in the role.
