Your Role As a Restaurant Cook, you will deliver quality food to our customers while controlling daily and weekly inventories and conduct tasks to see that guests have the level of food service to Neiman Marcus Standards. This job is onsite and will report to the Restaurant Manager. What You'll Do
  • Maintain an active role in the smoothness and efficiency of retail restaurant operations by producing and coordinating the production of food items needed for daily menus and special events
  • Maintain team awareness of inventory cost and profitability through proper use of production, build-to, and order sheets
  • Communicate supply needs for production with head cook
  • Checks in with supervisor for any special preparation needed before starting normal kitchen duties
  • Maintain equipment daily and reports any malfunctions to leadership
What You Bring
  • Cook experience
  • Experience using cutting tools, cookware and bakeware
  • Role requires standing, bending, climbing stairs, and lifting and carrying 35 pounds
  • Associate will have a flexible schedule
