Job Summary: The Restaurant Coordinator provides support to the restaurant management team through a variety of administrative tasks while exhibiting Wolfgang Puck Fine Dining Group standards in every aspect.
Essential Job Functions: - Assist management with daily administrative tasks including but not limited to purchasing, ordering, invoicing, scheduling, records control, and filing
- Accurately process all new hire and employee change paperwork in a timely manner
- Assist in reconciling all operational paperwork including but not limited to guest receipts and vendor invoices
- Work with staff and management team to ensure proper cost controls and inventory levels
- Follow all standard operating procedures at all times
- Create and execute special projects and assignments as assigned by the management team
- Assist in answering telephone calls from guests
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Education: Associates degree preferred or 2 years of previous work experience, internship, on-the-job training, or any equivalent combination of training, education, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position
Required Experience:- Minimum 2 years experience in administrative function in the hospitality industry
- Working knowledge of computer applications and systems (including hardware and software)
- Open Availability
- Professional Presentation
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks while maintaining standards of operations
- Excellent guest service and hospitality skills and professional presentation
- Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Must be a team player with a positive, helpful, can-do attitude
- Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and duties - email etiquette, file management, record keeping, template creation,
- Skilled in customer service and personal service
- Be articulate, communicative, and professional with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to meet strict deadlines
Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for extended periods of time, twist at the neck and trunk, bend at the waist, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, reach overhead, above shoulders, and horizontally. Employees will use their hands to handle objects and tools and operate service equipment. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40-pound objects. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Employees may use vision to monitor food quality and quantity and may also order supplies, etc.
Work Conditions: May require evening and weekend hours. While performing the duties of this job, the employee generally works in an indoor front of restaurant and kitchen environment. You will usually be based indoors, splitting your time between the front of the restaurant and the kitchen. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but may be loud dependent on the specific work site and/or equipment operation.
