Job DescriptionThe Brookmere Hotel and Regent Restaurant & Bar, opening in December 2024,is actively searching for organized, professional, and friendly Host/Hostess to join our opening Food and Beverage team of hospitality professionals. The Brookmere Hotel and Regent Restaurant & Bar, managed by Hay Creek Hotels, is a major development project in Saratoga Springs, New York, situated just a mile from the Saratoga Racetrack and abutting Saratoga National Golf Course. The 10-acre site formerly known as Longfellows Hotel, Restaurant, and Conference Center will be raised and built upon, creating a home for the new 88-room upper-upscale hotel, full-service restaurant and bar with seasonal outdoor porch, spa, banquet facility with 6,000 sq.ft. of meeting and event space, and private access to Lake Lonely. Bonacio Construction leads the development, partnering with Hay Creek Hotels as managing partners. The property is currently projected to open in December 2024.Hourly pay, plus tips.Job Summary:
  • Greet, direct, and seat, guests in accordance with company service standards.
  • Manage all reservations, guest wait lists, and rotation of tables, as guided by the F&B Director.
  • Assist Dining Room Attendants and Servers as needed, including busing and cleaning tables, setting tables, and running food.
  • Be thoroughly familiar with menu items, promotions offered, hotel offerings, and related materials.
  • Complete designated side work efficiently and thoroughly. Clean and maintain all working areas and equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work place.

  • 16+ years old.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work in a constructive, team working environment with a positive, upbeat and customer-focused attitude.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills,
  • Must feel comfortable with technology. Working knowledge of Open Table a plus.
  • Restaurant experience preferred.
  • Ability to operate smoothly under pressure and stress.
  • Flexibility to work nights or mornings, weekends, holidays, and busy seasonal days.
