This position is responsible for assisting the Senior Manager in the overall day-to-day operations at Devon Seafood + Steak.
**Job Functions** (Items marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this position):
* Assist Senior Manager by providing hands-on leadership on the floor through monitoring service and guest satisfaction, responding to customer concerns, and ensuring the correct flow of service in the restaurant. *
* Interview, hire, schedule, train, and motivate staff. Ensure that all pre & post service line ups are executed daily.*
* Forecast revenue and expenses. Monitor and control labor and supply costs in order to optimize profit and adhere to budgets.*
* Enforce sanitary practices for food handling and general cleanliness in order to maintain safety, health, and sanitation standards.*
* Maintain own department and support Assistant Managers in departmental needs, including completing payroll information, monitoring labor reports, etc.*
* Serve as the primary contact for safety, employee/customer injuries, and incident reports, as well as attend Safety and Accident Review Board meetings.*
* Perform other duties as assigned.
**Basic Qualifications:**
* Minimum of 3 years of Food & Beverage, Retail, Hospitality/Tourism AND/OR related experience.
* Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience.
* 18 years of age or older.
* Must have a valid Drivers' License
* Completion of high school or GED
**Additional Qualifications:**
* Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.
* Post-Employment ServSafe TIPS CPR
