About the Role:

We are seeking a professional and experienced Restaurant Server to join our team. As a Restaurant Server, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our guests, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a clean and comfortable dining environment. Your main goal will be to ensure our guests have a memorable dining experience and leave satisfied with our service.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Proven work experience as a server in a restaurant
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
• Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays
• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with point-of-sale systems
• Knowledge of wine and cocktail service
• Ability to handle cash and credit card transactions
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Food safety certification

Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant
• Present menus and answer questions about menu items, making recommendations when necessary
• Take and process guests' orders accurately and efficiently
• Serve food and beverages in a timely and professional manner
• Ensure tables are clean and set up properly for the next guests

Skills:

As a Restaurant Server, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests and team members. You will also need to be able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude. Attention to detail and the ability to multitask are also important skills for this role. Additionally, knowledge of wine and cocktail service, as well as experience with point-of-sale systems, are preferred skills that will be beneficial in your daily work.
