Operation Managers lead a team of restoration and reconstruction professionals after traumatic events, such as a fire or flood, to clean up and repair damage to residential and commercial property. As an OM, you will oversee the production department and direct activities toward long-range goals for growth and profitability. Why The Team Needs You? - Pay range from $80,000 to $100,000 depending on results.
Team Qualifications (Requirements):
- 5-10 years restoration construction experience
- 5-10 years management experience
- 5-10 years Project Management and Estimating experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or related experience preferred
- Experienced at reading, interpreting and managing financial statements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to lead, mentor and bring a diverse group of people together to work effectively
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one, small or large group situations to customers, homeowners and employees in the organization
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems and make prudent decisions
- High quality work standards, honesty, integrity & punctual
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Teams, Word & Excel)
- Knowledge of Xactimate & Symbility preferred
- IICRC Certifications a plus
- Builders License preferred
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
Role on the Team (Job Functions):
- Professionally represent the Paul Davis Restoration Values and Basics
- Management of Estimators, Project Managers, Emergency Department & Project Coordinators
- Schedule and conduct weekly Goal Setting and Review meetings.
- Schedule & hold meetings with direct reports; train & supervise direct reports on better practices
- Train direct reports.
- Continuously work to ensure compliance with all Paul Davis processes, policies, better business practices and in accordance with laws & regulations in the jurisdictions in which Paul Davis operates.
- Identify business opportunities & strategies
- Coordinate and discuss goals, financial/operational matters on a regular basis with appropriate personnel.
- Create & review job reports, WIP, and customer relations.
- Identify needs of the department for growth.
- Develop & execute plans to meet company goals of sales, gross margin, scorecard & Net Promoter Score.
- Ensure proper communication between departments.
- Ensure compliance with Franchise Agreement and Program work
- Perform other duties as directed by immediate supervisor.
