We are committed to a culture that respects our differences and values the contributions of all people.Please visit cantexcc.com for more information on this location.Job Summary:( Must be C.N.A Certified)The overall purpose of the Restorative Aide position is to assist in the provision of restorative and/or rehabilitative care to patients as appropriate, and to assist in the provision of regular Patient care as may be directed.QualificationsQualifications:* State certification as a Nursing Assistant is mandatory.* Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.Essential Functions:* Provide personal care to patients in a manner conducive to their safety and comfort. Assist in the provision of restorative or rehabilitative care.* Performs restorative nursing tasks such as ambulation, range of motion, positioning, self-feeding, etc., within the scope of individuals' training.* Promotes and supports the greatest possible degree of independence for patients.* Advises Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) of Patient's status daily.* Contributes knowledge of Patient's conditions/needs to patient care plans.* Assists in the implementation of care plans as directed within the parameters of established policy and procedure.* Observes and reports on Patients' conditions and documents observations as required.* Promotes safe and clean environment.* Complies with requirements of procedures for safe lifting and/or safe transfer of patients per established policies and procedures.* Assists in care and maintenance of therapy area and equipment.* Assures that equipment is clean and functional.* Attends in-service training programs.* Attends monthly Quality Assurance Meetings.* Responsible for monthly and weekly weights.* Attends weekly rehab meetings* Ability to function as a Team Leader/Role Model.* Has reviewed Cantex Continuing Care Network Policy and Procedures for Abuse Prevention and knows the employees responsibility to enforce it.* Attends weekly in-services, understands, and complies with Patient Care Management Systems.* Responsible for assuring patient/resident safety.* Performs other duties and tasks as assigned.We are an Equal opportunity employer; We offer an excellent benefit plan to include 401K with match, CEU reimbursement, vacation, sick, holidays, medical, dental, and supplemental insurance Plans as well as a Highly competitive compensation package.
