Job Description:

FutureCare North Point in Dundalk near Essex is looking for a Restorative Aide to works under the supervision of a licensed nurse, implementing treatment plans recommended by a licensed physical therapist. The Restorative Aide is responsible for implementing basic restorative care programs and rehabilitative programs.

  • Provides safe restorative care of the resident
  • Performs documentation on flow sheets and other applicable forms of all restorative care activities.
  • Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly resident environment by keeping work area clean and disposing of soiled, contaminated items.
  • Reports malfunctioning, broken or hazardous equipment or conditions to supervisor or safety officer.
  • Observes policies and procedures as demonstrated through performance of procedures and tasks.
  • Provides restorative programs:
  • Splint Program
  • Dining Program
  • High Steppers (ambulation) Program
  • LYFE Today (Living Your Life to its Fullest Everyday) Program
  • Reach (range of motion) Program
  • Observes residents condition and reports changes to supervisor
  • Provides one-on-one training

  • Graduate of state approved Geriatric Nursing Assistant Program certified by Maryland Registry
