Under the supervision of the PACE Center Manager, the Restorative Aide performs a variety of duties related to obtaining and maintaining participants physical goals and PACE goal to help each participant to be as independent as possible. Provides restorative therapies and assists with activities, meals and activities of daily living. Accepts other duties as assigned by the Center Manager or designee and within the Restorative Aides scope of practice.

1. Provide regular and dependable attendance.2. Follows all Reid Health PACE policies and procedures and OSHA safety guidelines and maintains a safe working environment.3. Under the guidance of the Physical and Occupational Therapists, provides direct participant treatment according to the individualized care plan.4. Assists the Occupational Therapist and Physical Therapist with participant care, treatments and assessments as directed.5. Prepares supplies and equipment for participants according to the treatment plan.6. Monitor, clean and maintain therapy equipment and 7. Assists participant with range of motion exercises, activities of daily living including walking and other therapies as ordered.8. Provides assistance with lifting, turning, moving, transporting and transferring participants. 9. Assists in group exercise and other physically based activities in the Day Center.10. Documents necessary information daily in the electronic medical record while maintaining participants privacy.11. Shares responsibility with other team members in the implementation of the PACE philosophy and achievement of program goals.12. Practices Universal precautions and follows appropriate Infection Control procedures.13. Participates in and supports the Quality Improvement initiatives.14. Participates in continuing education classes and any required staff and training meetings.15. Complies with CMS PACE regulations as they pertain to this role.16. Performs other duties as assigned.

Education Required: High School diploma or equivalentExperience Required: 1-2 years of health care experience with elderly.
Day Shift. 40 hours weekly. Monday-Friday 8:00AM-4:30PM
