Position Responsibilities:
Embody the company standard as a high-quality care provider.
Provide support, recognition, information for patients, families and staff.
Develop, implement, direct and evaluate the Restorative Nursing Program.
Consult with the interdisciplinary team to develop and maintain restorative care standards.
Ensure that the restorative nursing program complies with applicable laws, regulations, and national restorative nursing standards and requirements.
Perform or supervise the performance of restorative care.
Performs fall, restraint, and assessment upon new admissions, quarterly, and as needed.
Complete clinical documentation for all restorative care.
Work in conjunction with the Director of Nursing to maintain quality standards of care in accordance with current Federal, State and facility standards, guidelines and regulations.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Educational Requirements Currently licensed as an nurse (RN/LPN) in this state
Qualifications/Skills: Must be knowledgeable of the MDS process. Strong interpersonal skills. Excellent verbal, organizational and communication skills. Strong computer skills.
