ReStore General Manager
Our affiliate is currently seeking applications to become our next ReStore General Manager. The position is currently open on Indeed.
The Habitat for Humanity ReStore generates revenue through the sale of donated building materials and household items to support HFHMC's mission. The ReStore Manager is responsible for the overall management of the ReStore's day-to-day operations, planning for the ReStore's future, and representing the ReStore at public and community events. Specific responsibilities involve operations, staff/volunteer management, reporting and communications, finance and administration, and policy and planning. Previous retail management experience preferred.
Responsibilities
Oversee all retail operations while ensuring consistent and efficient operationsDesign strategy and set goals for growthSet priorities, policies, and processesEnsure ReStore is adequately staffed with employees and volunteersHire, train, and manage ReStore staffEnsure proper maintenance of facility, equipment, and vehiclesDevelop and maintain comprehensive operations manualEnsure compliance with safety standardsEnhance the organization's culture by reinforcing core values and fostering a positive work environmentResearch and implement best practices in retail and merchandisingImplement and monitor financial controls and provide accurate accounting recordsDevelop marketing and advertising strategy for the ReStore integrated with the overall HFHMC strategyDevelop relationships with existing and potential donors to increase the quality and quantity of donationsProvide quality customer service and handle grievances professionallySkills and Experience

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $58,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
