Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality customer service by greeting clients, understanding their needs, and delivering personalized banking solutions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, assisting with account inquiries, transactions, and product information.
- Educate customers on banking products and services, including checking/savings accounts, loans, credit cards, and online banking tools.
- Process routine banking transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and check cashing accurately and efficiently.
- Assist customers with account opening, account maintenance, and closing, ensuring all required documentation is completed and compliant.
- Balance and reconcile cash drawers daily, ensuring accuracy in transactions and compliance with bank policies.
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate banking products and services, such as personal loans, mortgages, and investment products.
- Meet or exceed individual and branch sales goals by promoting the bank's full range of products and services.
- Follow up on leads and referrals, fostering long-term relationships with customers to generate repeat business.
- Address and resolve customer issues, such as transaction errors, account discrepancies, or complaints, with professionalism and in a timely manner.
- Escalate complex issues to management or the appropriate department as needed.
- Support the branch team by participating in daily operations, such as opening/closing procedures and cash vault management.
- Collaborate with branch staff to maintain operational excellence and provide a welcoming environment for customers.
- Stay updated on banking regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance in all transactions and customer interactions.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field preferred.
- 1+ years of experience in retail banking, customer service, or a sales environment.
- Knowledge of retail banking products and services, including deposit accounts, loans, and credit services.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on delivering excellent customer service.
