Job Description:

The Retail Distribution Strategy and Analytics Manager is responsible for the development, maintenance, and analysis of national Retail banking center distribution and workforce planning. This includes developing and maintaining data and model outputs to propose banking center expansion, relocation, consolidation, renovation, and closure activity which considers factors such as business opportunity, community impact, and compliance with enterprise policies and applicable Federal and State laws and regulations. Other significant responsibilities include data/financial evaluation and recommendation, prioritization/allocation of financial spend, budget management, financial modeling, lease renewal management, geospatial analytics, designing complex solutions, reporting, presentations, and consultation.

This is a critical role requiring business acumen, analytical mindset, and an understanding of the banking center's role in an integrated channel customer experience. Strong communication and leadership abilities are required as the individual will collaborate closely with cross-functional Retail, Corporate Real Estate, Marketing, Risk, and Operations teams to develop and deploy recommendations.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Retail Distribution Strategy and Governance:

* Analyze existing national banking center footprint of approximately 400 locations, 2,200 colleagues, and 700 ATMs, identifying opportunities to optimize business performance and customer experience.

* Recommend potential banking center expansion, relocation, consolidation, and closure in coordination with ATM placement and digital/phone capabilities.

* Support workforce analysis by developing and/or utilizing existing tools to optimize number and type of capabilities required based on market insights and expected return.

* Evaluate associated community impact, collaborating with Corporate Compliance and The Office/External Affairs to assess the potential impact of the closure, opening, and relocation.

* Develop executive presentations clearly expressing the proposed strategic direction and justification, including associated benchmarks and metrics.

* Develop action plan(s) as needed to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

* Help to secure financial investment to support banking center actions through special projects and financial planning.

* Assess emerging opportunities and needs and propose changes to the plan of record for prioritization.

Retail Distribution Strategy Deployment:

* Oversee the execution of banking center actions to ensure alignment with strategic direction, escalating potential risks as appropriate.

* Provide executive updates on progress, outcomes, and potential obstacles.

* Work with BI&R, sales enablement, product, and marketing teams to align deployment in coordination with sales insights with product development and marketing strategies.

Banking Center Network Optimization:

* Monitor sales team performance against set targets and objectives, providing regular feedback and actionable insights to enhance performance.

* Utilize data analysis to provide insights and recommendations to optimize sales strategies and achieve Retail business objectives.

* Identify areas of potential growth and customer segments to drive revenue growth.

* Identify development needs based on performance analysis.

* Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential opportunities and risks.

* Identify opportunities to enhance the analysis and process for evaluating the Retail banking center network.

Banking Center Distribution Model Ownership:

* Assist with model documentation and validation activities.

* Conduct regular model monitoring and maintenance.

* Vendor oversight, including contract management.

* Business validation of model inputs.

* Recommend and oversee implementation of continued model enhancements.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree from Accredited University, Undergraduate Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or applicable fields

* 7 Years Strategy and analytical experience utilizing a data-driven approach

* 7 Years Synthesizing analysis for executive leadership consumption and decision-making

* 7 Years Microsoft Office Products including Word, Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP's), PowerPoint and Outlook

* 6 Years Experienced in large program governance leading practices

* 6 Years Matrixed business planning and prioritization

* 5 Years Strong risk management and experience engaging with supervisory agencies

Work Best Category: Category C - Days in the office will either be designated days or will vary week to week from 2-5 days

Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday

Salary: To Be Determined Based on Individual Experience
