Position purpose: Ensures retail businesses are maintained and cleaned to set standards. Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks: (material responsibilities and essentials duties) •Responsible for all janitorial duties in the Retail businesses (Fruit Stand, Casa de Sweets, Casa de Wine and Chevron). •Dusting/cob web removal in high areas, to include ceilings •Cleaning of windows, interior and exterior •Waxing on floors on scheduled basis •Restrooms, where applicable •Exterior grounds at Chevron, to include blowing and pressure washing •Routine cleaning as needed. Qualifications: (minimum educational and experience qualifications, required proficiencies with specialized knowledge, required certifications, etc.) Able to follow verbal and written instructions, able to independently evaluate current conditions against standard and perform tasks necessary to bring areas to standard. Special Position Requirements: (Any hazard, risk, security issue or related special conditions which apply to the position, i.e. chemicals used, equipment used, cash handling, etc.) Must be able to safely operate motorized vehicles (golf cart), large power tools (power wax stripper/buffer, power washer, leaf blower) and small power tools. Able to do tasks ambidextrously (wipe, sweep, operate hose, etc). Some exposure to cleaning products (bathroom and toilet cleansers, window cleaners, wax, wax stripper, paint, weed killer and other chemicals.
