Position: Part-time, Business Hours 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
Location: Oak Park, Michigan
Pay Range: $ 16.00 to $ 22.00 hourly - based on experience.
As a Retail Manager, you will be the face of our company, assisting customers with their purchases, answering inquiries, and ensuring an exceptional shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with product information, answering questions, and resolving any issues.
- Manage inventory and stock shelves using pallet jacks or high-lows to ensure products are well-organized and replenished.
- Ensure the store layout is clean, safe, and visually appealing.
- Operate retail POS systems efficiently to complete customer transactions.
- Perform routine checks on equipment (pallet jacks, high-lows) to ensure they are functioning correctly.
- Assist with deliveries, including receiving, unpacking, and storing inventory.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience in a customer service role, ideally in a retail environment.
- Technical Skills: Must have hands-on experience operating a pallet jack or high-low (certification preferred but not required).
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move inventory (up to 50 lbs), stock shelves, and stand for extended periods.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and a team player.
