Looking for a Retail Estimator in Columbia, SC. Entry/Junior level role. Job Summary: The Retail Estimator is responsible for developing accurate cost estimates for retail products and projects. This includes analyzing costs, preparing detailed reports, and collaborating with various departments to ensure profitability and competitive pricing. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Cost Estimation: Analyze and determine the cost of products, materials, labor, and other related expenses. Pricing Strategy: Develop and implement pricing strategies that maximize profitability while remaining competitive in the market. Inventory Management: Work closely with the purchasing and inventory teams to ensure accurate stock levels and cost-effective purchasing. Data Analysis: Utilize data and market trends to provide insights and recommendations for cost reduction and process improvements. Collaboration: Partner with sales, marketing, and finance teams to ensure alignment on pricing strategies and cost estimates. Reporting: Prepare detailed reports and presentations on cost estimates, pricing strategies, and financial performance. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field. Proven experience in cost estimation, pricing analysis, or a similar role in the retail industry. Strong analytical and mathematical skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with retail inventory management systems. Knowledge of industry trends and market dynamics. Certification in cost estimation or financial analysis.
