Sodexois seeking aRetail Food ServiceManageratNebraska Medical Centerlocated inOmaha, NE.This Food Service Manager will help manage the evening food and retail locations throughout the hospital. This manager will be a hands-on leader with a strong background in directing food service teams in a high-volume environment.

The Retail Food Service Manager position offersa competitive salaryand a fullbenefits package that kicks in immediately.At Nebraska Medicine, this position will also receive perks such asfree parking,daily meal stipend, andfree gym access.The schedule is primarily12pm-9pm / Wednesday-Sundaywith some flexibility.

The successful candidate will:

  • direct and oversee all retail food operations for the hospital (Starbucks, Restaurant, Cafés, Convenient Store, and Micro-Market)
  • manage, develop and engage with supervisors and frontline employees
  • interact with customers, hospital staff, and visitors to ensure customer satisfaction
  • oversee cash handing processes and POS programming and maintenance
  • maintain all product merchandising, marketing and ordering standards are in place
  • achieve company and client financial targets and goals

We are looking for candidates who have:

  • experience as a Food Service Manager or Supervisor (retail food outlets, restaurants, hotels, catering etc.)
  • a results-driven mindset that enjoys working hands-on to support the team
  • natural ability to foster culture and mentor others
  • strong technical skills
