Job Description:
The Retail Marketing Project Manager will be responsible for managing specific digital and print media initiatives of the corporate Marketing Department. They will support various segments of Novo's customer base through planning, design, creation, and implementation of sales tools which support both retail and eCommerce sales environments. They will collaborate with management to help establish the criteria, design, and brand parameters as well as the overall feel of the companies' communications.Novo Building Products is an industry-leading manufacturer and distributor of stair parts, mouldings, doors, and specialty millwork, along with a variety of board products. Based in Zeeland, Michigan, Novo Building Products operates Ornamental Decorative Millwork, L.J. Smith Stair Systems, and Novo Direct.Just as our products are used to build something new and inspire others to make living spaces more beautiful, we endeavor to positively impact the people and communities we touch every day.Salary starts at $60,000, benefits from day one!Essential ResponsibilitiesDevelops and implements effective tools, processes, and best practices to assist the sales team in presenting products and introducing new products while consistently looking for ways to improve and help the retail marketing team work in a more efficient manner.•Demonstrates current resources and capabilities to include training videos or virtual tradeshow on screen.•Directs graphic designers on the creation of new printed marketing/merchandising materials, edits/updates to existing collaterals, and giving final approval on projects and third-party vendors.•Manages all Print Vendors to ensure quality and deadlines are met.•Works closely with Retail sales teams to ensure all Lowes items are established in a timely manner.•Develops and maintains a close relationship with Novo Lowes Category Management team to ensure all goals are met for Novo Products in the Lowes Store environment.•Manages all Lowes POP to ensure that Lowes guidelines are followed.•Coordinates product photo shoots or rendering creation as needed for marketing projects.•Develops new POP concepts and ideas by visiting Big Box Stores and researching what the competition offers.•Works closely with Product Development and eCommerce teams to manage theoverall product portfolio and product lifecycles. Makes informed suggestions on the addition and elimination of products based on performance.•Attends industry trade shows to research competitor booths and discover trends in booth design to suggest innovative ideas for Novo tradeshow booths.•Develops the annual Novo marketing budget in coordination with the Retail Sales Management teams.•Performs other duties as assigned.Basic Qualifications (Required)Minimum of 3 years' experience in marketing or project management•Proficient in Microsoft Office suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.•Excellent research, statistical, and decision-making skills with ability to navigate the internet to retrieve necessary data.•Capacity to communicate efficiently with all levels of employees, management, customers, and vendors both verbally and in written form.•Demonstratable ability to multi-task with speed and accuracy while prioritizing tasks. Ability to operate effectively within established budgetary constraints.•Established ability to multitask, strong conflict resolution skills, and willingness to work collaboratively as a team.•Ability to achieve results in a demanding environment, meeting deadlines and budget constraints, and ability to multi-task without losing sight of projects to be completed.•Exceptional organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail. Additionally, strong creative, analytical, logical, and problem-solving abilities are essential.Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or Project Management•Familiarity with the Building Materials industry and/or wood productsTravel RequirementsTravel is primarily local during the business day, although out of the area travel may be expected.•Overnight travel may be required to attend trade shows and visit customer showrooms.Physical RequirementsMust be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone and communicate clearly and concisely via email and company messaging system.•While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, and see.•This employee is required to use a computer screen often to view projects and documents.•The employee is required frequently to stand; walk; use hand to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and lifting.Why Work with Us?We offer competitive wages, shift premiums, and benefits.
