The person should have a working knowledge of the latest men's and women's fashions and an artistic mind for creating visually appealing merchandise displays. - Lead merchandiser to maintain an attractive shop with visually appealing merchandise displays.
- Sales experience and the ability to service customers are desired traits.
- Responsible for placing fill-in merchandise orders in a timely manner.
- Facilitate and operate quarterly inventories with the Director of Retail and professional staff.
- Operate CLUB ESSENTIAL point-of-sale system.
- Receive, tag, and display stock and special-order merchandise.
- Code invoices to the correct accounts and process to accounting.
- Develop creative sales & promotional concepts such as trunk shows and holiday promotions.
- A forward-facing, on-floor, flexible position with hours ranging from 15-30 hrs. / week, with the possibility of equating to an FT position. Our busy season is from May to October and Holidays.
Qualifications:
- Merchandising/Retailing degree is helpful but not required.
- 1-2 years experience in merchandising or a retail store preferred.
- Golf background and knowledge are helpful for this position but not required.
Compensation & Benefits: Part-time position with flexible hours ranging from 15 - 30 hrs. per week. Salary Range: $30-$35 / hour, one meal per 8-hour shift, uniforms, golf privileges on the Championship and short courses.
