The Retail Receiver will work as part of the Golf Shop Retail staff under the direction of the General Manager and Director of Golf. This position will consistently provide an exceptional presentation of our merchandise stock room and make sure all product is thoroughly checked in and received at time of delivery. The Retail Receiver will also assist with monthly count of all retail inventory to assure that all product and sales are accounted for. EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS REQUIRED
- Experience in exceptional customer service in a high-end hospitality or retail shop environment
- High degree of professionalism and commitment to excellence and high standards
- Detail oriented & able to prioritize workload and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent customer service skills are a must.
- Must demonstrate appropriate analytical skills, attention to detail, ability to follow-through and creativity.
- Able to communicate effectively and professionally in both verbal and written formats.
- Honesty and integrity.
- Must be proficient in business related software (Excel, Word, website management) and POS experience is helpful.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be highly organized and self-motivated with a relentlessly positive attitude.
- Experience with receiving, pricing, merchandising, managing, and maintaining levels of inventory hard and soft goods.
- Assist with recording and entering invoices into POS & accounting systems - possess basic computer skills for job duties.
- Place, monitor and follow through on special orders.
- Help merchandise and display product in the Merchandise Retail Tent for the PGA Tour's American Express golf tournament that we host annually.
- Receive PGA Tour player packages during the week of The American Express and distribute accordingly.
- Other duties as needed and assigned by Director of Golf.
