Job Title: Retail Sales Coordinator
Description:
POSITION SUMMARY:
This is a full time position.
The position will provide direct support to the Retail Sales Director as well as interact with all members of the Retail Sales Team internally and externally
The individual will be responsible for all functions applicable to the Retail Sales Coordinator position as well as becoming familiar with all Retail Sales accounts assigned to the Retail Sales Director
Some vital functions the individual will be involved with are: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, AS400, Info/Power-Link, Vendor Online Systems, Customer Account Information and Customer Service
Perform other department related duties as required
POSITION DUTIES:
Communicate, maintain, and administer program details with assigned customer as well as internally
Fully understanding our customers needs as well as our internal procedures and policies within multiple departments of Joy Cone
Serve as the communication hub/link to logistics (traffic), order entry, production planning, invoicing and other internal departments
Ability to develop PowerPoint presentations
Assist in maintaining items listed on Retail Sales database and customer portals
Research and keep accurate electronic records on all deductions and related communications working directly with customers and Sales Director to either resolve the deduction or collect a payback for invalid claims
Address / resolve Customer order issues pertaining to (pricing, quantities, date changes, etc.)
Complete Customer check requests for promotional activities in a timely manner
Complete Special Projects as assigned
NECESSARY SKILLS:
Organizational skills a must
Professionally address verbal and written interactions with customers
Demonstrated ability to multi-task
Time Management
Math and analytical skills necessary
Experience with AS400 a plus
Computer systems/software operation and regular use of office equipment
Detail oriented with strong organizational skills with the ability to work well under pressure
Team Player
QUALIFICATIONS:
4-year college degree strongly preferred
Experience working in an office setting
Ability to effectively manage multiple projects while still hitting deadlines
Ability to work professionally with customers, sales reps and internal departments.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Must be a self-starter with good work habits and attendance.
