As a Retail Store Associate, you'll be responsible for merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining the general cleanliness of the store. You'll play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and contributing to a positive shopping experience for customers.
Position Type: Full-Time Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week Starting Wage: $19.50 per hour Wage Increases: Year 2 - $20.00 | Year 3 - $20.50 | Year 4 - $20.50 | Year 5 - $21.50
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Process customer purchases and maintain cleanliness of the store
- Stock shelves and merchandise displays neatly
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their shopping experience
- Collaborate with team members and communicate clearly with management
- Participate in store inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy
Physical Demands:
- Ability to stock merchandise and lift items up to 45 pounds
- Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, and carry items
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Operate a cash register efficiently and accurately
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior work experience in a retail environment preferred
