As a Retail Store Associate, you'll be responsible for merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining cleanliness in the store. Your primary focus will be on enhancing the customer shopping experience through exceptional service and teamwork.
Position Type: Full-Time Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week Starting Wage: $19.00 per hour Wage Increases: Year 2 - $19.50 | Year 3 - $20.00 | Year 4 - $20.00 | Year 5 - $21.00
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and neatly stock shelves and merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and collaborate with team members
- Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash policies
- Comply with company policies and procedures, and handle and sell alcoholic beverages as per state and local requirements
Physical Demands:
- Ability to stock merchandise, lift up to 45 pounds, and perform general cleaning duties
- Regular standing, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to operate a cash register and store equipment
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and within a team
- Prior retail experience preferred
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience or equivalent knowledge
