If that is what you are looking for, this is your chance to be part of an amazing organization! Alera Group is seeking a highly motivated Operations Associate to join their Retirement Plan Services team.

As an Operations Associate, you will be an integral part of a rapidly growing Retirement Plan business with a focus on Financial Wellness and exceptional service.

Responsibilities:
  • RPAG (Retirement Plan Advisor Group) Program Management: Manage integration of new business data; assist with quarterly fee analysis and record keeper data collection
  • RIA Transition Management: Work with newly acquired Retirement Plan Services firms to establish and support an RIA transition project plan
  • Scorecard Management: Provide quarterly reporting on specified sales performance metrics
  • Assist Director of Investments with investment data collection
  • Actively support Financial Wellness and Participant Education initiatives
  • Coordinate follow-up and interaction between Regional Operations, Compliance, Advisors, Support Personnel, and Outside Vendors
  • Vendor Invoicing and Payment Reconciliation
  • CRM Support
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, focusing on service, consistency, ownership, accountability and follow up as well as compliance with firm policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate college degree required
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience in financial services, supporting Retirement Plan and Financial Wellness programs

Addiitional Qualifications

  • Demonstrate understanding of Retirement Plan Services and the applicable rules, regulations, and best practices.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in verbal and written formats.
  • Excellent customer service skills, and ability to interact with advisors.
  • Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives with little supervision.
  • Ability to handle and resolve complex issues.
  • Proficient computer and Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Demonstrate a commitment to building new skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines.
  • Highest integrity regarding confidentiality of client data
  • Team player who will thrive in a collaborative environment.
