By joining Woodforest you will become a part of one of the largest employee-owned banks in the country!The Return Mail Specialist is responsible for reviewing returned mail items and updating Bancline information to reflect a change of address or mail has been returned from the current customer address. Return mail is tracked daily and reported on a monthly basis to management.Key Responsibilities:· Separates return mail by statements, post card notifications PIN notifications and miscellaneous mail.· Enters the number of returned mail pieces by type in the department tracking spread sheet.· Forwards various returned mail to appropriate department as defined in the procedures.· Places accounts on returned mail status by inputting account information in Return Mail Application.· Process Change of Address requests and items returned by the post office with Forward Time Expired address information.Competencies Required:· Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word.· Excellent organizational and data entry skills, with the ability to multi-task, maintain accuracy, and met deadlines in a fast paced, high volume environment.· Customer service orientation with effective problem solving abilities and strong written and verbal communication skills.· Self-starter possessing the ability to work independently while supporting a team environment.· Ability to follow directions and apply proper policies, procedures and guidelines.· Strong attention to detail and high concern for data accuracy.Minimum Qualifications/Experience:· 1-2 years general office work experience. Prefer experience in banking or financial services operations or customer service.Formal Education & Certification:· High School Diploma or Equivalent required.· Some College Courses.Work Status:· Full-Time.Supervisory Responsibility:· None.Travel:· 0% - Negligible amount of travel expected.Working Conditions:· Conditions involve lifting no more than ten pounds, sitting most of the time, but may involve walking, moving, or standing for brief periods, and occasionally lifting and carrying articles like files, ledgers, folders, etc.Disclaimer:This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee.
