1st shift - Returns Department Associate The Warehouse team is seeking a Returns Department Associate to assist in ensuring all returned product is inspected, cleaned, and fully prepared for reintroduction into warehouse stock using various tools, products and an RF scanner. - The hourly rate of pay is $19.50 per hour
- The 1st shift hours are 6:00am - 2:30pm
As a Returns Department Associate you will
- Receive and unload product returns with the team from Fedex and UPS
- Inspects products for damages or defects and records discrepancies or damages; accurately clean, bag and label return products and move to correct stockroom
- Process freight by verifying units received and unpacking and processing delivering into the correct location
- Ensure that product is safely stored, properly ticketed, and easily located for replenishment
- Ensure unsold and/or returned products are returned to the stockroom within established company standards
- Communicate and type clear written notes describing product information; understand product notes from CSRs
- Perform all job functions in compliance with safety guidelines and company policies/procedures
- Work a full-time schedule; work overtime as business demands including extended hours and/or weekends
- Keep work area in a clean and orderly condition, clean and maintain equipment
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualified Candidates will
- Have minimum of 6 months related work experience
- Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent
- Obtain familiarity with operating computers and RF Scanner; Epicor experience is a plus
- Must possess basic math skills to calculate weight and basic reading skills to read labels
- Have strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with various departments throughout the company
- Have a high degree of attention required to prevent accidents, injuries, and quality issues
- Must be able to stand/walk/move about for duration of shift
- Frequently required to kneel, bend, and reach
- Frequently required to push and pull bins and pallets of material
- Occasionally required to ascend/descend a ladder
- Must be able to frequently lift/move up to 20 pounds; occasionally move up to 60 pounds, with assistance if needed
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
