Position Overview: Accurately and efficiently process customer returns, retail returns and vendor returns. Accurately and efficiently flow inventory throughout the department through the analyzing process. Review current procedures and strive to improve on those procedures to decrease processing time, increase service levels and improve variable operating cost within the department.This position is structured to expose the Returns Lead to limited leadership responsibilities so that they can develop leadership skills in the area of operational functions and personnel management. The position will be based in our Belleville, Fulfillment Center.What You'll Do:Prioritize daily work schedule for the department, and work with other departments inside the warehouse to reallocate labor to best meet customer demand and the strategic company goalsHave a thorough understanding of all returns processing, analyzing, retail retag and outletPlan effective use of department equipment and personnel to meet operating budget and service levelsAssist Returns Supervisor in refining operating guidelines and monitoring workflowAssist Returns Supervisor in coaching and development of staff in order to create a consistently high level of personal motivation and performance among all personnelMaintain a monthly report card program for touch bases with all employeesConduct annual reviews witha ll assigned employeesBuild cross departmental communications with all functional areas of the companyManage the development of menaingful labor and production measurementsAssure that all actions taken with regard to direct reparts are in accordance wiht established company policiesMaintain documenation on returned products and performance objectivesMaintain clean/safe work areaOther duties as assignedWhat We're Looking For:1+ year of supervisory experience in distribution center environmentIntermediate keyboard and computer experience (MS Excel, MS Word)Detail Oriented with high level of accuracyThe ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasksThe ability to indentify process shortfalls and submit workable changesThe ability to stand or walk for the entirety of your shiftThe ability climb flights of staris throughout the dayThe ability to remain in a stationary position, often standing for prolonged periods of timeFrequently lifting up to thrity pounds, occasionally lifting up to seventy poundsAdjusting or moving objects over twenty pounds in all directionsPush/pull a picking cart and/or pallet of up to five hundred poundsMoving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one work areas to anotherModerate warehouse noise levelWork in temperatures ranging from 50 - 95 degreesDuluth Benefits and PerksAs we continue to grow Duluth Trading Company and its house of brands, the perks have perked up, too.
