Job Description:

The Material Handler responsibilities include processing product returns from our customers including system research for appropriate credits and product disposition. This position also requires performing standard warehouse duties, including but not limited to unloading trucks, sorting, logging packages, and maintaining accurate cycle counts. What will you be doing?
  • Process inventory and asset returns from RAs and STOs using SAP and Mymediset systems, including product Complaints and Customer repairs.
  • Research inventory discrepancies by analyzing data in SAP and Mymediset systems.
  • Use appropriate transactions codes to detail returns, including Credits to customers.
  • Extensive communication with the sales force, customers and other Smith and Nephew facilities, in and outside the U.S., via email, Excel, MS Teams and/or telephone.
  • Ensure compliance with all company processes and procedures.
  • Maintain an organized work area.
  • Maintain and operate material handling equipment.
  • Work with a team using the skills of communicating, listening, and participating in developing continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.
What will you need to be successful?
  • High School diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Three to five years in a warehouse environment.
  • SAP knowledge desired.
  • Knowledge of MS Excel desired.
  • Ability to read small print at different levels of lighting.
  • Capable of working independently and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, analytical and time management skills.
  • Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
  • Able to work well with other team members.
