Revenue Accountant On-site Fort Worth, Texas, United States Finance Job details Job description This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, an analytical mindset, and a commitment to ensuring compliance with financial regulations and policies. The Revenue Accountant will collaborate with various departments to support revenue recognition, billing, and the preparation of financial statements. Ensure accurate and timely recording of revenue transactions in accordance with GAAP or IFRS standards. Oversee the issuance of customer invoices and review revenue contracts for proper billing terms. Perform monthly reconciliations of revenue-related accounts and investigate variances. Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements related to revenue, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations for revenue transactions. Manage internal WIP reporting compliance and data integrity Document and continuously improve Controls and SOP's Work with sales, operations, and legal teams to ensure correct revenue recognition and resolve any discrepancies. Analyze revenue trends, customer billing issues, and suggest improvements to revenue processes. Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and applicable laws/regulations related to revenue. Identify opportunities to streamline revenue accounting processes and enhance efficiencies. Job requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or Finance. CPA or CMA certification preferred. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in revenue accounting or general accounting, preferably in a corporate environment. Experience with revenue recognition principles and accounting software. Knowledge of GAAP and IFRS revenue recognition guidelines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., SAP). Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. or
