Overview:

Revenue Audit Clerk

Overview

Responsible for accurate and timely reporting of audit reports and preparation of journal entries including hotel, cage, table games, slots, race, and sports book. Reconciles accounts on a regular basis. Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Complete daily audits assigned and in accordance with regulations and company policy/guidelines

  • Responsible for the daily audit of casino revenue paperwork

  • Responsible for processing of daily hotel/night audit reports

  • Responsible to read meters on slot machines

  • Responsible to prepare daily revenue reports as well as monthly spreadsheets
  • Responsible for printing, issuance, and reconciliation of all coupons used
  • Responsible for routine filing and retrieval of information as required
  • Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, Federal and State laws and regulations, and Golden Nugget and departmental policies and procedures
  • Consistently deliver positive, courteous and professional guest service in all interactions with guest, visitors, vendors and fellow employees
  • Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service
  • Perform related duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED. Some college courses in accounting or in a related field is preferred

  • Prior casino experience in financial related field preferred

  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information

  • Beginner / Intermediate personal computer skills including Microsoft Office

  • Ability to operate a 10 key calculator by touch or sight

  • Attention to detail

  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced and high-intensity environment

  • Strong mathematical and communication skills

  • Critical thinking

  • On the job training provided
