Overview
We're seeking a Sr Revenue Cycle Informaticist to join our team! In this role, you'll serve as an integral member of the electronic health record (Epic) support team.
Location: Hybrid- Cedar Rapids, Iowa
Travel: Travel within the region is frequent; travel outside the region is required occasionally

Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
Key responsibilities include direct involvement with the development, implementation, training, and support of the electronic health record. The senior informaticist identifies and seeks approval for enhancement requests and assists in the prioritization and implementation process associated to this change. The role provides advanced support to the Revenue Cycle Informaticists and serves as a liaison between system departments and end users. Senior
Informaticists may assist with other applications as assigned.
Qualifications
What You'll Need:
Education:
* Bachelor's degree in a healthcare related field or equivalent experience (minimum four years) in medical practice management or healthcare related IT systems/training.
Experience:
* Experience with Revenue Cycle Epic applications required.
* Medical/billing office background required
License(s)/Certification(s):
* Valid driver's license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons.
* Epic credentialed trainer status for registration/scheduling/billing.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
* Writes, reads, comprehends, and speaks fluent English.
* Basic computer knowledge using e-mail, SharePoint, and web browsers, and Microsoft office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
* Experience with electronic health record functionality.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast- paced environment.
* Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Ability to present to adult learners in an effective manner.
