Job Description Job Description Revenue Cycle Manager needed to work in Melville, NY. Qualified candidates will have (3) three years of managerial experience, hospital registration and revenue cycle management.Responsibilities :Manages administrative direction of assigned accounts receivable departments: Assess and makes recommendations to improve the efficiency of current systems/processes for applicable registration and financial servicesFormulates and implements policies and procedures to facilitate the efficient functioning of related departmentsDevelops and maintains current departmental manuals, where applicableDevelops financial programs consistent with changing regulatory and fiscal environment in accordance with the Health Systems mission and visionPromotes optimal efficiency and productivity by integrating functions across service linesEnsures cash reconciliation and auditing functions are in compliance with policies and proceduresDevelops and monitors strategic operating goals, objectives and budgets; and reports operational performance justification and/or corrective actionIn conjunction with Information Services and Finance, ensures optimal registration flows as they relate to accounts receivables. Ensures accuracy of patient data statistics as they relate to admissions, discharges, and outpatient visitsEnsures the accuracy of third party allowances. Ensures changes due to third-party regulations an implemented correctly within a proper time frame with the EPIC systemReviews aged trial balances. Ensures accounts on the aged trail balance reports are handled in an efficient and accurate mannerTroubleshoots various patient issues as it relates to collections; Reviews and approves refunds as they relate to patients and third partiesEnsures compliance with applicable law and regulatory standards. Keeps abreast of federal, state and county rules and regulations pertaining to collectionsDevelops, manages and evaluates direct reports; oversees development, management and evaluation of Indirect reportsManages the efficient use of the department budgetPerforms other incidentals and related duties as required and assignedEducation and Work ExperienceBachelors degree preferredMinimum of seven (7) years experience in Hospital patient access services including three (3) years supervisory experienceSkillsAdvanced knowledge of related hardware/software and hospital registration/billing systems, requiredProficient in Epic applicationExcellent written and oral communication skills.Knowledge of medical terminology - CPT and ICDComputer literacyAbility to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept directions on given assignmentsKnowledge of billing guidelinesAbility to interact harmoniously with co-workers in all departments of the companyKnowledge of billing guidelinesProfessional appearance #J-18808-Ljbffr
