Rello Search Partners is recruiting for a Revenue Cycle Manager to be a critical member of the senior management team with a fast growing private equity owned medical practice and multi-locations throughout FL. Corporate office is located in Tampa, FL.
This is a high visibility role reporting directly to the CFO and supporting the executive team.
** Only local candidates residing in the Tampa Bay area and able to work onsite will be considered for the position. **
Responsibilities:
· Provide supervisory oversight and management of all facets of the revenue cycle management and billing department including claims processing, revenue monitoring and quality improvement initiatives.
· Work cooperatively with other managers and administration to ensure timely billing, reporting and patient account management.
· Performs overall revenue management including: satisfying timely filing requirements and maximizing billing revenue and collections, and resolution of denied/rejected claims.
· Supervise 10-15 billing specialists.
· Monitor reports to ensure clean claims submissions.
· Monitor monthly aging reports and conduct follow-up on unpaid claims and take appropriate action to correct and re-bill for reimbursement.
· Identify, research and resolve system issues through direct contact with payors and software vendors.
· Develop, implement, and maintain revenue cycle standard operating procedures.
· Research and maintain billing compliance and regulations.
· Perform regular audits of daily billing reports to identify coding and billing errors. Works closely with the billing team.
· Monitor A/R, aging and payment reports monthly to identify trends and underpayments: investigate causes and take appropriate steps towards resolution.
· Provide monthly updates of revenue cycle status including reports and metrics.
· Perform special projects and other duties as requested.
Qualifications:
· A Bachelor's degree in a business or related field or relevant experience with progressive development of responsibilities.
· Minimum of 5 years of healthcare/medical business office/revenue cycle management with supervisory experience.
· Excellent communication and organizational skills.
· Proficiency in use of billing software, ModMed EMA preferred
· Private equity, acquisition and integration experience highly desired
