Job Description:

Exciting Opportunity at MSK: Revenue Integrity Manager

Reporting to the Revenue Integrity Director, this role is a subject matter expert in a high-profile group focused on improving revenue results by analyzing clinical and financial processes. Responsibilities include overseeing daily operations of the MSKCC Chargemaster and Clinical Liaison teams, supporting clinical departments in setting up CDM workflows for new revenue initiatives, and ensuring adherence to charge reconciliation processes. The role involves direct communication with physicians, nurses, patient accounts, and the billing department to ensure compliance with MSKCC standards. Additionally, it requires a high level of service focus, project management, and the ability to lead, coach, and mentor junior analysts.

Role Overview:

  • Develops relationships with various committees and groups to ensure continuity in processes that increase revenue capture
  • Act as a liaison to bridge any communication gaps and foster collaboration among departments.
  • Maintains a rapport and frequent visibility with all contacts that will foster a trusting relationship, encourage discovery of revenue capture opportunities.
  • Facilitate effective communication between billing, coding, clinical, and administrative teams to ensure seamless integration of charge capture and charge reconciliation processes.
  • Accountable for developing and maintaining standards for Revenue Integrity and CDM Management procedures and training.
  • Initiate CDM management of dept/division specific initiatives.
  • In conjunction with Revenue Operations, and Budget teams, process and ensure Revenue Integrity Analysts educate on CPT/HCPCS changes impacting the CDM.

Key Qualifications:

  • 5 yrs. of Hospital Revenue exp
  • Advanced experience with Excel and Epic is a plus

Core Skills:

  • Outstanding relationship-building skills with demonstrated capability of managing stakeholder expectations and fostering and building new relationships at all levels.
  • Ability to review, analyze and interpret payor payment policies, billing guidelines, and state and federal regulations.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and able to navigate evolving business needs.
  • Superb communication skills

Additional Information:

Location: Hybrid, NYC; flexibility to work across MSK sites

Work Schedule: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST, Monday Friday

Reporting to: Revenue Integrity Director

Pay Range: $109,300.00-$174,800.00
